K.K doesn’t need introduction. His early years started in Mt. St Mary’s School, Delhi Cantt. Later on he completed his graduation from Kirori Mal College.
He always had penchant for mellifluous singing. When Lewis Bank heard notes sung by K.K, He realized his voice had some divine quality and he signed him for the radio jingle.
The radio jingle sung by KK, got appreciation from the industry and the masses. Within short span of 4 years, KK sang around 3500 radio singles.
Radio jingles were not KK’S ambition. He wanted to earn fame and name like Kishore Kumar and R.D Burman. And movies like Maachis and Jhankar Beats provided him that opportunity.
Many beautiful compositions like “Tadap, Tadap Ke” Tuhee Shab hai dua hai brought heaps of praise for K.K, he won many awards for his heart touching romantic number.
Not many people know K.K sang in regional languages too. These days’ singers are not only entertaining masses and classes by singing movie songs, they are also judging realty shows, giving live performances…
